- It takes just a few minutes to
set up - fast and easy.
- PAL uses Internet "softphone"
service (no 2nd phone line).
- You can call PAL from
any telephone or cell phone.
- It responds to phone key presses
(TouchTone
Control).
- Or PAL responds to simple,
intuitive, voice commands.
- PAL is fast and convenient while driving or in busy environments
like malls, sporting events, and the office.
- It’s Personal Audio Link technology.
- It’s reliable, useful, very cool... and fun!
Security
PAL is private, just between you and
PAL. PAL is secure because it:
- Has no central server (your
information never leaves your PC).
- Needs no handheld device
(sensitive data can't be misplaced).
- Uses only audio streams (no text
or data is ever transmitted).
- Has its own dedicated 10-digit
phone number, just for you and PAL.
- Answers calls only from
the phones you specify (CallerID
security).
- Requires a user-defined pass
phrase that you set and control.
- Or requires a TouchTone
PIN number that you set and control.
Access Modes
PAL is easy to set up. Then, you and
PAL can communicate:
- Remotely, from any cell phone or
telephone (just call your PAL
number!).
- Locally, through your PC's microphone
(or headset/handset) and speakers.
Technology
PAL runs on Windows-based PCs. Its technology
includes:
- Voice-over-IP ("VoIP") connection, to
communicate from any phone.
- TouchTone control (phone key
presses), also called "DTMF encoding / decoding".
- Speech Recognition, as an easy alternative to TouchTone
control - just speak the commands.
- Artificial Intelligence to
retrieve your data, get internet information, and create responses.
