I'd like it if the baloon tip that tells me PAL has auto-muted itself, when I begin to use PAL Phone went away without me clicking it to close it

That Mute Balloon Tip does go away "by itself" after 10 seconds.  Also, it appears only once in any given PAL launch, then it does not occur again unless PAL is re-launched.

Maybe we should have a means of permanently leaving it off for experienced users like you!  :-)
