What options exist for calling out of my PC once I call in using PAL? Can it access my telephone line to connect me to where-ever my home phone can call?

Hi--

PAL can call any North American 10-digit phone number, including landlines and cell phones.  Later this year, we intend to expand PAL's outbound calling capability to international numbers.

PAL can place outbound calls either while sitting at your PC (from the PAL Telephone); or, by calling into PAL remotely from any telephone, and instructing PAL to call one of your Outlook contacts.  It's fast and easy, especially while driving: "PAL?  Call David Johnson."  Within 2-3 seconds, PAL will respond, "I'm dialing now."  And in another few seconds PAL will have dropped off the line, and you will be talking directly to David.  Very cool.

Hi--

We've just released a new PAL for Skype (version 1.1 TouchTone PAL) that allows entering and dialing numbers of any type, not just 10-digit numbers.  At the moment this capability is limited to PAL running Skype as the choice for "Bring Your Own VoIP."
